In Badlands National Park in South Dakota, one of the biomes that people will find is the grasslands. There are many organisms that reside in this area, such as prairie dogs, upright dandelions, and many other organisms. Many organisms adapt in this environment very well, as other organisms lack the traits they require to survive this condition. The Badlands are usually sunny and dry during the summertime, and cool and dry during the winter. Unfortunately, out of the many National Parks, there is only one biome for Badlands National Park.
